Add salt and charcoal powder in equal parts and use resultant mixture to brush teeth twice in a day, rinse off with water and brush with regular toothpaste later. Detergent foods – Food items like carrots and popcorn are excellent for preventing enamel damage and teeth discoloration. Eating these after meals is very useful for preventing stains from occurring as these take out accumulated food particles between teeth and keep mouth healthy. Eat carrots in raw form and consume few popcorns between meals, rinse off mouth with water later these will keep breath fresh and mouth clean to maintain shiny white teeth.

Strawberries – These prevent and remove stains. Eat few strawberries after meals or mash pulp of few to form a paste, add a teaspoon of baking soda and rub teeth with the paste to remove stains. Margosa leaves – Take few leaves of margosa tree and grind them to form a paste, use this paste to brush and use finger for better results.
