If welts are spread all over the body, take a dip in tub full of cold water.

Prepare a paste of holy basil leaves. Collect 10 to 15 leaves or more if you need to spread them over larger area and put them in a sieve. Take some water in a bowl and boil it, put sieve containing holy basil leaves over the bowl so that it does not touch the water but get the steam of it. Move the leaves in the sieve so that all the leaves get evenly steamed. Take them out and grind them to form a paste. Apply this paste over affected part and let it stay for 15 to 20 minutes. Take a cup of oatmeal powder and add some water to form a paste. Spread this paste over affected part and let it stay for 20 to 25 minutes. Later wash off with plain water. Take two inch long piece of crushed ginger and add to a cup of water. Boil the mixture for few minutes and add a teaspoon of honey when mixture is bearably warm.
