You can also use this remedy with a little variation, dissolve in apple cider vinegar instead of water, this way too it work as one of the best remedies.

Simply washing the affected part with apple cider vinegar is also one of the easy to use home remedies for skin irritation. Just dab a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and wash the affected part covering surrounding area as well. Let the vinegar stay and dry out, repeat few times in a day to cure the problem.

Oatmeal powder and evaporated milk provide one of the strong home remedies for skin irritation. Take a cup of oatmeal powder and eight ounces of evaporated milk, add these to a bathtub and stir so that mixture gets mixed well with tub water. Take a bath for 20 minutes in this water and later shower yourself with cold water.


Mix three parts of aloe vera gel and one part of cornstarch and apply this mixture over the affected part. Let the paste stay for 30 minutes and later wash off with plain water. Pat the skin dry and repeat this remedy regularly to cure the problem. This too is one of the best remedies for skin irritation.

Rub fresh peppermint leaves to the affected part and let the juice stay, if peppermint leaves are not available you can try holy basil leaves too, both of these are excellent ways to calm down symptoms of irritation and heal the damaged part of skin quickly. Prepare a paste by adding three parts of baking soda with one part of water. Apply this paste to the affected part, let the paste stay for 20 to 30 minutes and later wash off with cold water, pat the skin dry and do not rub or wipe harshly. This is one of the useful home remedies for skin irritation. You can also rub some petroleum jelly for simple skin irritations like the ones occurring due to clothing or harsh chemical or substances.
