Caramel apple cheesecake is a sweet, crunchy and tasty dessert. It is a combination of yummy cheese with sweet apple and crunchy caramel which altogether gives a beautiful dessert and loved by adults and children alike. It’s easy to make and yummy to eat. Preparation and Cooking Time
Preparation time: 1 hour
Cooking time: 1 hour
Total time: 2 hours (approx.)
- Whole graham crackers = 8
- Toasted walnuts = 1 cup
- Brown sugar = 2 tablespoons
- Granulated sugar = half cup
- Orange zest = 1 tablespoon
- Package cream cheese = 3 packages
- Muscovado sugar = half cup
- Eggs = 4
- Vanilla extract = 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla bean = 1
- Heavy cream = half cup
- Salt = half teaspoon.
- Granulated sugar = half cup
- Apple juice = 2 cups
- Vanilla bean = 1
- Granny smith apples = 3 peeled, thinly sliced and seeded
- Fuji apples = 3 peeled, thinly sliced and seeded
- Apple brandy = one-fourth cup
- Granulated sugar = one and half cup
- Water = one-fourth cup
- Heavy cream = three-fourth cup
- Salt = a pinch
- Apple brandy = 3 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract = half teaspoon.
- First of all preheat the oven at 350 degrees.
- Finely ground brown sugar and half cup of walnuts then add butter and keep on stirring until the mixture becomes smooth.
- Now spray the pan with the cooking spray and place this mixture on the baking sheet and bake it for 8 to 10 minutes until it becomes brownish in color.
- Now combine one-fourth cup of sugar and orange zest and ground it neatly.
- Now place the cream cheese in a bowl and beat it for 7 to 8 minutes till it becomes light and fluffy.
- Add the Muscovado sugar and beat it again after this, add eggs one at a time and beat them again. Add the vanilla cream and vanilla extract then add salt and cream and beat it until it gets finely mixed.
- Set this cheesecake on an aluminum foil, place this in a cake pan and pour hot water in this pan until the cake rose halfway at the sides.
- Now bake this cake for 55 minutes.
- Now refrigerate this cake for about 5 hours.
- Sugar, apple and vanilla bean in a bowl and heat it till the mixture becomes light brown in color and is thick.
- Now stir the butter until melted and add apple and after that cook this mixture to add apple brandy and keep on cooking it until this all reduces to almost half cup.
- Now place these apples on a plate.
Apple caramel sauce
- Mix sugar and water at high heat till it becomes brown in color and do not stir it again and again.
- Place cream in a pan and heat it.
- When the caramel reaches to brown color, add salt and cream in it and mix this all and add apple brandy and vanilla extract.
- Now spread these 2 sauces on the cake after it has been refrigerated and serve it.
It can serve 7 to 8 persons.
