Boston cream parfaits is an amazing and delightful dessert, it’s easy to make and can be served on any occasion. It is a chocolaty dessert and favorite of children and adults alike. The combination of chocolate and vanilla gives a soothing and wonderful taste. It is a light dessert and always makes people wanting it more. It is a super easy recipe and very tasty one too. Preparation and cooking time
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Total time: 1 hour (approx.)
- Sugar = half cup
- Milk = 2 cups
- Vanilla = 1 teaspoon
- Egg yolks = 4
- Cornstarch = 6 tablespoon
- You can use pudding.
- Sugar = two-third cup
- Cocoa powder = one-third cup
- Cornstarch = 3 tablespoon
- Pinch of salt
- Milk = two one-fourth cups
- Butter = 1 tablespoon
- Butter = three-fourth cup
- Eggs = 3
- All-purpose flour = two and half cups
- baking powder = two and half teaspoons
- salt = half teaspoon
- sugar = one and half cups
- vanilla extract = 2 teaspoons
- milk = one one-fourth cups
- heavy cream = 2 cups
- vanilla = 2 teaspoon
- sugar = one-fourth cup
- chocolate sauce
- For the custard add milk and one-fourth sugar in a pan and boil it.
- Take a bowl and whisk egg yolks in it, add one-fourth sugar then add vanilla and cornstarch and mix them all well.
- Add hot water in this mixture and set it over a medium heat now keep on stirring gently and after this mixture becomes thick remove it from the flame and set it aside to cool down.
- Take a pan and add cornstarch, sugar, cocoa powder and salt and mix them well now add cold milk over it, now cook it for some time over medium heat till it boils with constant stirring now add butter in it and stir it time and again so it does gets completely mixed.
- Now preheat your oven at 350 degrees, grease the cake pan.
- Add baking powder, salt and flour in a bowl and set it aside.
- Now beat cream, butter and sugar well and add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and beat again.
- Mix the flour mixture and milk that is combined.
- Spread it over the baking pan and bake for at least 30 minutes.
- For the topping beat sugar vanilla and cream and beat them.
- Now spread this mixture over the cake.
- Your beautiful dessert is ready to serve now.
