Mix white vinegar and water by adding one part of vinegar with two parts of water. Take this mixture in a dropper and put few drops of it in the affected ear, dip a cotton ball and apply this mixture over entire outer area of the ear. Mineral oil is another one of the easiest home remedies for ear mites. Just put few drops of mineral oil in affected ear and gently clean outer area of the ear by dabbing a cotton ball in the oil. Take a tablespoon of olive oil and add a crushed bulb of garlic to it, let the mixture stand overnight, in the morning strain out the garlic and put few drops of the oil in affected ear of pet. Gently massage entire ear with a cotton ball dipped in the oil. This is one of the fast-acting home remedies for ear mites. Repeat the remedy till symptoms subside.
Olive oil and oregano oil provides very useful home remedies for ear mites. Simply putting few drops of olive oil can also curb initial signs of dust mites, but if pet is scratching vigorously from some time mix half ounce of olive oil with half teaspoon of oregano oil, put few drops of this mixture in affected ear and clean outer part of the ear with a cotton ball dabbed in the mixture. Though ear mites do not affect human health still necessary precautions shall be taken, wear a kitchen coat while treating the pet and wash hands thoroughly with strong antiseptic soap after treatment.
